Young horses for breaking in need to be as clean as possible for the initial work without the saddle.
Dressage saddle is preferable with a strap on the front and the stirrups need to be big enough for male feet, with long enough stirrup leathers.
If the owner has taught the horse to lunge with the saddle it makes our training and time with your horse more efficient.
Please be specific when explaining your horses history for safety of the rider.
